Tuesday night brings hoops fans a six-game slate of NBA action beginning at 7 p.m. EST. The featured matchups on NBC & Peacock pit the Miami Heat against the Minnesota Timberwolves before the Dallas Mavericks face the Sacramento Kings in the late game, but there are some other fun contests to catch throughout the evening as well with betting value even where you may not expect it.

Desmond Bane 3+ 3PM (+151)
We’re starting early with what may not be the best game on the slate, but there’s still plenty of value available in the matchup between the Orlando Magic and Washington Wizards. Sure, there’s some blowout potential here that may scare off a few bettors, but 3+ made threes for Desmond Bane makes a ton of sense in this one as a top prop pick. On the season, he’s hit a career-low 35.0% of shots from beyond the arc, but he’s still taking a smidge over five attempts per game while operating in an important role as a secondary scorer. Volume certainly won’t be a problem here either with Jalen Suggs (knee) doubtful and Franz Wagner (ankle) still sidelined, too. Bane’s drained at least three shots from distance in 20/36 contests (55.56%) as well as in back-to-back outings. Against a young Wizards squad allowing the fourth-most made threes per game and fifth-most attempts overall from that range, there’s reason to believe we see a hot shooting night from the guard before hitting the bench early.
Victor Wembanyama 11+ rebounds (+120)
Everyone’s favorite physical freak is questionable to play with a bone bruise in his knee and just missed two games. However, if Victor Wembanyama suits up, he should dominate in this spot. He’s pulled down 11 boards in 14/21 games this year (66.67%) and his 11.7 rebounds per contest would rank second among all players if he were eligible behind only Nikola Jokic. It’s tough enough to crash the glass against the French superstar to begin with, but a Grizzlies group still operating without starting center Zach Edey (ankle) will truly struggle in the paint. Jock Landale and Jaren Jackson Jr. simply cannot compete with the 7-foot-4 big man, so the matchup looks quite exceptional here. Memphis ranks 18th in opponent rebounds allowed and Wembanyama hit 11 boards in two of his last three games against this same team, narrowly missing the mark with 10 rebounds in the third. Granted, those contests came last season in January and February, but there’s still no denying his dominance when healthy.
Bam Adebayo under 15.5 points (-103)
The Heat just squared off against the Timberwolves back on Saturday in a 125-115 win for Minnesota. Now, the rematch comes on the Wolves’ home court, and they’ll certainly look to establish dominance against a standout Miami squad. Bam Adebayo is in the midst of a cold streak as a scorer, recording 15 points or fewer in six straight games dating back to December 21 as well as seven of his last eight. While his points O/U line continues to tick downward, there’s little reason to believe he breaks this recent trend against a formidable frontcourt. He scored just 12 points on Saturday against Rudy Gobert, Julius Randle and the occasional matchup with Naz Reid, and the Timberwolves rank around the middle of the pack in points allowed in the paint at 14th. The size Adebayo will face may prove problematic again and he seems to be in his own head after making no more than five shots in a game over this recent slump. Plus, Tyler Herro (toe) is questionable and could play for the first time in weeks, further hurting shot volume for his star teammate. Expect Adebayo to stay under this line of 15.5 points.
