It’s not the featured matchup of the Monday night NBA slate, but this duel between a pair of young squads out in Portland should be quite fun. The Trail Blazers welcome the Utah Jazz to the Moda Center at 10 p.m. EST as these youthful cores go toe-to-toe.

The points lines just keep on ticking upwards for Keyonte George, who began the season with expectations of simply growing in the efficiency department. Fast forward to 2026 and suddenly the Jazz have an electric young scorer on their hands. The third-year guard has boomed lately, showing tremendous advancement as a bucket-getting machine. While there are certainly some rough outings here and there, the ceiling looks fantastic with nine 30-point outings and at least 20 points in 19 of his last 21 games. George’s marks of 45.2% shooting from the field and 37.7% from three are both career-bests, and he’s hitting 90.0% of his shots from the charity stripe as well. With 16.9 shot attempts per game, he’s second in the offensive pecking order and has made the most of it with over 24.5 points in 18 of his 33 games and seven of his last 10 outings. To top it off, the Trail Blazers rank 23rd in PPG allowed to opponents and lack much of a defense to stand in George’s way.
Donovan Clingan over 11.5 rebounds (-104)
Another young standout hitting their stride is Portland center Donovan Clingan. The No. 7 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, the UConn product is averaging a double-double with 11.2 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. In recent outings, he’s truly excelled on the board with 12+ rebounds in six of his last 10 appearances. He also comes off a monster game with a 24 points and 12 rebounds against the San Antonio Spurs two nights ago, so the big man should feel energized by that performance. The Jazz are 19th in rebounds allowed to opponents, and while opposing center Jusuf Nurkic is a big presence in the paint, he’s not quite the athlete Clingan is and the latter has a size advantage anyways. Watch for this recent hot streak to continue for the second-year center as the Trail Blazers’ starting big man goes over tonight’s prop line on the glass.
