UPDATE: Cam Ward has officially been ruled out for the remainder of the matchup due to his shoulder injury. This puts an end to his game after just one drive, and leaves a sour ending to the top pick’s rookie season. DraftKings’ Early Exit is in effect, and all qualifying bets will be honored appropriately.
Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward left the matchup with the Jaguars with a shoulder injury Sunday. Following a big hit on a rushing touchdown by the No. 1 overall pick, Ward was taken to the blue tent and then the locker room. He is considered questionable to return with a right shoulder injury for the time being.
Ward had completed all three of his passing attempts for 52 yards and added 11 rushing yards along with the touchdown prior to leaving. His status will be worth monitoring moving forward, and this would be an unfortunate way to end a solid rookie season considering the circumstances.
Brandon Allen has replaced Ward in the game at quarterback while the hopeful franchise QB continues to be evaluated.
If Cam Ward is officially ruled out, and because he left the game in the first half, DraftKings’ new Early Exit program is now in effect. Anyone who made a single bet on Ward will receive cash credits. As for parlays, the remaining legs of your parlay will remain open, and the odds of your parlay will be recalculated, excluding the leg that qualifies for Early Exit.
