What happened to Cedric Coward? Live injury updates for Grizzlies vs. Lakers on Sunday 1/4/26

UPDATE: Coward is doubtful to return with an ankle injury.

Cedric Coward suffered a leg injury during Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Memphis Grizzlies wing left during the second quarter.

It’s unclear how severe the injury is and whether Coward will be able to return to the game tonight.

Coward was playing great through 13 minutes in the first half. He produced 16 points, nine rebounds, one assist and one steal while shooting 6-of-9 from the field.
