What happened to Jaime Jaquez Jr.? Live injury updates for Heat vs. Timberwolves on Saturday 1/3/26

It was a bad beat for Jaime Jaquez Jr. and the Miami Heat in Saturday’s game. Midway through the second quarter, the third-year wing appeared to tweak his right ankle while defending Timberwolves forward Julius Randle. Adding insult to injury, it was quite literally on an ankle breaker.

Jaquez was initially deemed questionable to return, but the team ruled him out for the rest of the game during halftime. Before leaving, Jaquez had six points, three rebounds, and an assist in 10 minutes of action.
