Opening Odds for Miami vs. Ole Miss in 2026 Fiesta Bowl

We are down to the final four in the College Football Playoff. Oregon will face Indiana in the Peach Bowl, and just like everyone expected, Miami will face Ole Miss in the Fiesta Bowl.

Miami pulled off a huge upset on Wednesday night, taking down Ohio State 24-14 in the Cotton Bowl. Ole Miss followed that up with an upset of their own, defeating Georgia 39-34 in the Sugar Bowl to set up this unlikely semi-final.

The 2026 Fiesta Bowl will take place on January 8th at 7:30 p.m. ET. Miami enters as a 2.5-point favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, while Ole Miss opens as a +110 underdog on the moneyline. The game’s total is set at O/U 51.5 points.

Miami vs. Ole Miss College Football Playoff Odds

I think just about everyone would be surprised if you told them at the start of this playoff that either Miami or Ole Miss would be playing for a National Championship. But here we are. Miami has overcome all the odds in their run, getting a gritty win against Texas A&M on the road before taking down the reigning champion Ohio State in the quarter-final. It’s a team built on physicality, defense, and quarterback Carson Beck makes key plays at just the right time to get them over the hump.

For Ole Miss, nobody saw this coming after former head coach Lane Kiffin jumped ship right before the playoff started to take the head coaching position at LSU. Pete Golding will eventually join Kiffin in Baton Rouge, but for now he’s doing a terrific job as the interim coach. Rebels quarterback Trinidad Chambliss had the game of his life against Georgia, and if he can put on a similar performance against the Hurricanes, Ole Miss could find themselves in a National Championship game.

The two teams in the Fiesta Bowl are still considered outsiders in the National Championship odds. Miami has slightly better odds at +300, while Ole Miss have the longest odds to win it all at +550. Here’s the full picture:
