The Chicago Bulls received some tough injury news with both Josh Giddey and Coby White set to miss some time. Both guards left the previous matchup with their respective injuries against the Timberwolves.
Giddey will be re-evaluated in two weeks and has been diagnosed with a left hamstring strain. White has been diagnosed with right calf tightness and will be re-evaluated in one week.
Both of the Bulls’ starting guards were off to strong starts to the season. Giddey has made a legitimate All-Star push, averaging 19.2 points, 9.0 assists and 8.9 rebounds per game. White missed some time to start the season, but he has settled back in and is posting averages of 19.2 points, 4.7 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game on the season.
Chicago got off to a strong start to the season, but has slid down the standings and holds a record of 15-17 on the season. It sits in ninth place in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls are 8-8 in games that both Giddey and White have played this year.
Looking at the odds, the Bulls currently hold +320 odds to make the playoffs on DraftKings Sportsbook. They hold -475 odds of missing the playoffs.
