The Los Angeles Clippers have won four straight games for the first time this season and look to extend their winning streak tonight against the Sacramento Kings at 11:00 p.m. ET. The Kings are 2-2 in their previous four contests and are coming off a 125-101 loss against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. The Clippers have won their last four matchups with the Kings.
The Clippers are the favorites in this contest by 9.5 points, with the over/under being set at 219.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are my favorite prop bets for tonight’s Kings vs. Clippers matchup.
Kawhi Leonard Over 7.5 Rebounds (-143)
Kawhi Leonard has been on an elite scoring stretch, scoring 55 points in his last game on Sunday against the Detroit Pistons. But let’s look at another area where Leonard has found plenty of success, rebounding. In 11 December games, Leonard is averaging 7.6 rebounds per contest and has seven games with at least eight. Leonard has totaled eight-plus rebounds in five consecutive games.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Leonard is -143 to record over 7.5 rebounds. Leonard has had at least eight rebounds in eight of his last 12 contests. With his total points set at 29.5, the better play is to back Leonard on rebounds, since his scoring has been inconsistent at times.
James Harden Over 26.5 Points (-116)
Harden has played a big part in the Clippers’ recent winning streak, with three games of at least 28 points in that span. This season, Harden is averaging 26.3 points per game, his most since the 2019-20 season. Harden has surpassed this scoring mark in 15 of 29 games this season.
You can back Harden to record over 26.5 for the fourth consecutive game at -116. Harden has scored at least 27 points in four of his last six games when attempting at least 17 field goals. Even at 36 years old, Harden has continued to prove that he still can produce at an elite level on offense when he is aggressive.
Russell Westbrook Over 14.5 (-115)
With the Kings dealing with a few injuries, Russell Westbrook has stepped up. Westbrook has scored at least 21 points in three of the last four games and four of six. When Westbrook is given more opportunities on offense, he has excelled. Westbrook is averaging 14.6 points per game this season, but his total has increased each month and is scoring 16.5 per contest in December.
Westbrook has never been known as an elite three-point shooter, but is more effective from deep this season. He is attempting 1.5 more three-pointers per game than he did last year. Westbrook has made at least four threes in three of his previous four contests, which has been a big part of his offensive game. With Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine out, Westbrook will continue to be one of Sacramento’s top options. Getting Westbrook to score more than 14.5 points at -115 is a good play against the Clippers.
