The Patriots are looking to hold on to the AFC East lead in Week 17 against the Jets. New England could be a top seed in the AFC with two wins to close the regular season, starting with this one against this sputtering New York roster.

Jets vs. Patriots Best Prop Bets
Breece Hall u73.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-113)
It has been a brutal season for the Jets. They have gone through three starting quarterbacks, traded away their best defensive players and missed Garrett Wilson for most of the season due to injury. After a poor 2024-25 campaign, Breece Hall started this season very strongly. He was performing among the best running backs in football through the first few weeks. However, with Brady Cook at quarterback and Garrett Wilson sidelined, the Jets have no real passing threat. That has made it hard for Breece Hall to get anything going on the ground. Over the last three games, Hall is averaging just 47.6 scrimmage yards per game. He has not been a big part of the passing game. Hall has more than 14 receiving yards in a game in just two of his past ten games. The Patriots need this win to stay in control of the AFC East, so it should be an all-out effort from New England. That should lead to Hall staying under this combined prop number.
Drake Maye Longest Completion u37.5 Yards (-115)
Drake Maye has been phenomenal this season. In his first full campaign as a starter, he is a legitimate MVP candidate. Maye is not yet a perfect quarterback, but he does already have one of the best deep balls in the NFL. Maye leads all qualified quarterbacks in completed air yards per pass attempt. The Patriots don’t have any great wide receivers outside of Stefon Diggs. However, they have several weapons with great athleticism who can get open downfield for Maye once or twice a game. This week, several of those weapons will be out for the Patriots. Kayshon Boutte and Mack Hollins will both miss this game, and Pop Douglas is questionable. The Patriots might also be without TreVeyon Henderson, which would allow the Jets to pay less attention to the running game.
While Maye is a great downfield passer, this is as high of a longest completion number as you’ll find. Opposing defenses know what Maye wants to do and have started adjusting accordingly. Maye does not have a completion of longer than 37 yards in any of his past five games. That includes the first matchup against the Jets in which Maye’s longest completion was just 26 yards, his lowest longest-completion number in a game this season. The Jets should emphasize taking away the deep ball again and make it six straight games with a longest completion under 37.5 yards for Maye.
