Christian McCaffrey ($17,700 CP): It’s a Run CMC Slate. McCaffrey remains the cleanest high-ceiling Captain option on the slate — he does more than anyone else on the field, full stop. San Francisco’s offense has been humming of late, not punting in back-to-back games and scoring over 30 points per game recently, and McCaffrey’s involvement as both a runner and receiver keeps his floor elevated even without a fluky touchdown. The Bears rank mid-to-below average against the run and are likely to force SF into a script where CMC remains involved regardless of the game flow — that’s exactly what you want from a Captain on a slate this compressed.
UTIL Plays
Brock Purdy ($10,600): Monday night was something. Purdy tossed five TDs and chewed up yardage as efficiently as possible. If you’re playing the quarterback, and that’s not an if, Purdy gives you an efficient scoring avenue without needing tables turned. He’s been playing well since returning from injury, throwing exactly 295 yards in each of his last two starts with multiple TDs and elite efficiency. Adding Purdy allows you to diversify away from the McCaffrey narrative while still capturing a big chunk of scoring volume tied to touchdowns, pass attempts and yardage accumulation.
DJ Moore ($8,400): With Rome Odunze officially out again, Moore is the primary Bears receiving engine and must-target on this slate. He’s already stepped into the role in Odunze’s absence with high-usage surges and remains Chicago’s best path to consistent target volume on short passes and contested catches — which is exactly where most Bears production will come from this week. When usage is limited everywhere else, Moore’s target share and red-zone looks make him one of the most reliable Bears pieces on this slate.
Jauan Jennings ($8,600): Watch the news. Jennings is the pivot if Kittle is limited or sits — the 49ers have already listed Kittle as questionable with an ankle injury, and if he’s off or hobbled, Jennings steps into a more prominent role. Even if Kittle plays, Jennings has been the more consistent secondary option and carries sneaky touchdown equity with a path to meaningful targets if the defense gets keyed on McCaffrey or the Bears rotate coverage. The delta here is strong enough that you can justify the savings and roster leverage.
Fade
George Kittle ($9,000): Our wills and our fates do contrary run. Fantasy players want Kittle to suit up Sunday night because he’s an easy click. It’s one fewer pick to think about. What we want is not what we get or what we thought we would get. Sharp fantasy players want Kittle to play. If he plays and is not at full strength, he likely won’t justify his salary. A lot of rosters will be crushed. Kittle has not practiced all week. His status will be determined by a pregame workout. This doesn’t sound like a healthy tight end. Why would the 49ers risk a Super Bowl run by playing Kittle in December? Save him for January and February.

San Francisco plays the cleaner game and controls the pace for most of the night. Chicago has moments of success but struggles to sustain drives consistently. The 49ers do enough late to separate and close it out.
