The Bears enter this game winning five of their last seven contests and are in the midst of their best season since 2018. Second-year QB Caleb Williams has taken steps forward this season and has helped lead Chicago back to prominence. He has thrown for 3,400 yards, 23 touchdowns, and six interceptions this season. Williams has recorded at least two passing touchdowns in three straight and four of his last five.
Another big part of the Bears’ success has been their backfield, as they are averaging 152.1 rushing yards per game, the second most in the NFL. D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai have created an elite duo in the backfield and are both averaging at least 4.7 yards per carry.
The 49ers have one of the best RBs in the NFL with Christian McCaffrey, who has totaled 1,888 combined rushing and receiving yards with 16 total touchdowns. McCaffrey also has caught 92 passes this season, the sixth most in the NFL. San Francisco’s QB Brock Purdy has recorded 295 passing yards in two consecutive contests while throwing eight combined touchdowns in those games. San Francisco’s offense has been producing at an elite level, scoring at least 37 points in three of their last five games.
