UPDATE: Willis did not return to the game.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Malik Willis suffered a shoulder injury in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. He is questionable to return.
This couldn’t have come at a worse time for Green Bay as Willis was playing the best football of his career. He completed 18-of-21 passes for 288 yards and one touchdown, while rushing for 60 yards and two more touchdowns on nine carries.
The Packers clinched a playoff berth, but they’re still playing for seeding and a division title. This injury is a significant blow as it likely means the Ravens win this game. It’s unclear whether this injury will keep Willis out for multiple games, but Jordan Love would likely be the starter once he returns anyway.
Clayton Tune is Willis’ replacement for this game. He threw an interception on his first pass.
