The 2025-26 NFL regular season reaches its second-to-last Sunday slate in Week 17, and while there are fewer games than usual after the Christmas Day and Saturday schedules, there’s still plenty of action on the docket. It’s time to lock in on one of the most popular betting markets out there. Here are the top anytime TD scorer picks on DraftKings Sportsbook in Week 17.
Harold Fannin Jr. (+300) vs. Steelers
At first glance, taking a Browns player to score against the Steelers might feel just plain wrong. Ignore the reputation of each team and your own priors, though, if only for a moment. Harold Fannin Jr. has emerged as a standout pass-catching option for Cleveland this season with three touchdowns over the last four weeks, even if the offense as whole may not be the most exciting in the NFL. This pick earns its way near top billing in my Week 17 anytime touchdown picks because of the recent track record, as well as the fact that Pittsburgh’s defense is far from what it once was. The 26 passing touchdowns the unit has allowed this season are tied for the seventh-most and the team falls 16th in defensive EPA/pass as well. I’m not saying Shedeur Sanders picks the Steelers apart, but I do think the Browns may have a chance or two to find the end zone since their opponents are 17th in points allowed per game and 28th in total yardage allowed. The value looks great for a Fannin Jr. touchdown on Sunday at +300 in the early slate.
Taysom Hill (+215) @ Tennessee Titans
Sticking with the tight end theme, we’ve got another big target here bringing the value as an anytime touchdown option. Is he a tight end though, or is he more of a running back? Perhaps a quarterback? Swiss army knife Taysom Hill served as the Saints’ bona fide RB1 last week with 12 carries for 42 yards, catching four of his six targets for 36 more yards and even throwing a 38-yard touchdown pass to top off a win over the Jets. While the latter won’t count for an anytime TD if it happens again, there’s a great chance for Hill to repeat his performance against one of the NFL’s softest defenses. With Devin Neal on season-ending IR with Kendre Miller and Alvin Kamara also ruled out in Week 17, Hill could once again work as the top option in the backfield while hauling in a couple of passes. The Titans allow 3.1 touchdowns per game, sixth-most in the league, along with 26.9 points and 341.7 yards per outing. With his versatile usage and projected role, a +215 bet on Taysom to score makes a ton of sense.
Trey McBride (+115) @ Bengals
I swear I didn’t intend to pick three tight ends as the best anytime touchdown picks this week — when looking over the value across the slate, these guys just jumped out at me. Trey McBride is in the midst of one of the best seasons at his position in NFL history, tallying 109 catches for 1,098 yards and 10 touchdowns on the campaign. He’s the clear focus of a Cardinals passing attack that airs the ball out more than any other team, and last week’s blip of four catches for 27 yards was more of an aberration than the norm after the star reached eight catches or 55 yards in nine straight games leading up to the poor performance. Nine of McBride’s 10 touchdowns have come over his last 10 contests, scoring in seven games across that span. He sees an elite workload with a 26.7% target share, best of any NFL tight end, and he’s also seeing a 33.7% share in the red zone to boot. The matchup this week is the best he could ask for, too. The Bengals push the pace with plenty of scoring and are the worst team in the league against tight ends with an average of seven catches for 90.8 yards per game and 15 total touchdowns allowed to the position this year. It’s surprising to see this at plus value.
