NFL Best Bets: Packers vs. Ravens Best Prop Bets for Week 17

Playoff positioning is still up for grabs as the Packers host the Ravens in Week 17. Green Bay clinched a playoff berth, but the NFC North title is still unclaimed.

Meanwhile, Baltimore isn’t in the playoff picture with two games remaining. There’s still hope, and it begins with this matchup on Saturday.

Green Bay is a 3.5-point favorite and -192 on the moneyline, while Baltimore is +160 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 40.5 points.

Here are my favorite player props for this Week 17 NFL game between the Packers and Ravens.

Packers vs. Ravens Best Prop Bets

Malik Willis over 15.5 completions (-110)

It’s a small sample size, but Malik Willis has been very efficient in his time with the Packers. Last season, he completed 74.1% of his passes, ranking first among quarterbacks with at least 50 attempts. He was 40-of-54 for 550 yards in seven games and two starts. In three games this year, he’s 12-of-14 (85.7%) for 134 yards.

It’s impossible to predict outcomes based on such little data, but the line is set at just 15.5. That’s a low bar for any starting quarterback, especially one that’s shown elite efficiency in the Green Bay system.

Additionally, the Ravens’ defense isn’t all that intimidating. Sure, the unit has improved from its early-season woes, but it’s still not a terrific defense. The pass defense is allowing the sixth most yards and fourth most attempts. It’s allowing the 10th fewest passing touchdowns, however, which means the defense is playing to bend but not break.

That’s perfect for completions as Willis can rack up easy short-yardage gains each down.

Derrick Henry under 73.5 rushing yards (-111)

The Ravens’ playoff hopes are on the line. They trail the Steelers by two games for the AFC North division title. That’s the only way into the postseason with Wild Cards out of reach. Unfortunately for Baltimore, Lamar Jackson is unlikely to play; Tyler Huntley will start under center.

It’s a significant downgrade, which will hurt Derrick Henry. The All-Pro running back played three games without Jackson this year, posting underwhelming performances in two of the three contests. He ran for 33 yards on 15 carries vs. the Texans and 71 yards on 21 carries vs. the Bears. The third outing was 122 yards on 24 carries vs. the Rams.

Without Jackson to draw attention, Henry is the focal point of defensive gameplans. Teams don’t have to worry about a lethal passing game with Huntley under center. Additionally, he doesn’t bring the same rushing equity that Jackson has.

Henry will still get a lot of touches, as he did in those three games earlier this season. The team will rely on him, but with defenses stacking the box, it’s unlikely he has a dominant showing.
