Jared Goff over 240.5 Passing Yards (-113)

While it’s an outside chance, the Lions are still alive to make the playoffs. This game vs. the Vikings is a must-win for Detroit. While Minnesota is a tough matchup, giving up the 10th-fewest yards per pass this season (6.2), the Vikings have nothing at stake at this point of the season and Goff should be able to exceed 240.5 passing yards.

The quarterback ranks third in passing yards per game this season (269.1) and has surpassed 240.5 passing yards in eight straight games, including a 284-yard showing in Week 9 vs. this same Minnesota defense he is facing Thursday. Plus, Goff ranks fifth in completion percentage (68.6%) and sixth in yards per pass (8.0).

Ever since Dan Campbell took over the offensive play calling duties for the Lions in Week 10, Detroit ranks fourth in the NFL in pass rate (64.%) and the Lions should continue to rely on Goff’s arm in Thursday’s crucial matchup. Clearing 240.5 passing yards shouldn’t be difficult for the quarterback and betting up the ladder makes sense with Goff on Thursday.
