The Dallas Mavericks will face the Golden State Warriors at 5:00 p.m. ET in a Christmas Day showdown. Although the Mavericks are 12-19, they have one of the NBA’s best young stars in No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg. Flagg is averaging 19.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per contest in his rookie season so far.

Here is my favorite prop bet for Cooper Flagg against the Golden State Warriors.

Cooper Flagg Over 20.5 Points (-113)

Flagg has continued to get better as the season has progressed. Each month this season, Flagg has increased his points-per-game average. In October, Flagg averaged 13.4 points; in November, 17.8; and currently is scoring 24.1 in December.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, you can get Flagg to record over 20.5 points against the Golden State Warriors at -113.

Flagg is coming off a performance with 33 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists in his previous game against the Denver Nuggets. He has scored at least 21 points in five of his last six contests and seven of 10 in December. A promising sign for Flagg’s production on offense is that his volume has also increased each month. He is attempting 16.9 field goals per game in December and has three games with at least 20. If Flagg is as aggressive as he has been throughout this month while being efficient, he has all the tools to record over 20.5 points against the Warriors.
