If anyone can take down the defending champion Thunder, it’s Denver. Nikola Jokic’s Nuggets are one of the NBA’s most dangerous clubs, currently racing out to a 21-7 record. They’ll look to pick up another win tonight against the disappointing Mavericks. However, Dallas is just one game out of a Western Conference play-in spot.

Which players will step up for their team on Tuesday? The Nuggets are favored by 6.5 points (-110) over the Mavericks, with the over/under set at 235.5 points. Here are two of the top prop bet picks on DraftKings Sportsbook for tonight’s Denver vs. Dallas matchup.

Nuggets vs. Mavericks prop bet picks

Bruce Brown 5+ rebounds (+102)

One of the more underrated moves of the offseason saw Denver bring back Bruce Brown. The wing, who won a championship with the Nuggets in 2023, has bounced around several squads since. While never an elite scorer, Brown’s all-around contributions make him an ideal role player. This season, he’s averaging 7.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. That’s despite starting once over 28 appearances.

Brown’s offensive output can be unpredictable, to say the least. Regardless, the 6’4″ guard punches above his weight class on the glass. In four of the veteran’s previous five games, he’s snagged at least five rebounds. It helps that the Nuggets are without fellow guard Christian Braun (ankle), opening up more minutes. The Mavericks struggle to box out, allowing an NBA-worst 58.6 rebounds per game to opponents. At even money, Brown is more than capable of hitting this total.

Naji Marshall 14+ points (-114)

Dallas’ season has been plagued by a myriad of injuries. Even with Cooper Flagg and Anthony Davis healthy, this squad is in desperate need of role players. Naji Marshall has been a savior for the Mavericks, giving head coach Jason Kidd quality minutes. After starting the season as a backup, the veteran is now a rotation mainstay. Over 30 games, he’s posted 13.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists. In addition, Marshall is shooting 55% from the field (31% 3PT).

Denver’s defense has improved in a major way compared to last season. Still, this unit doesn’t rank much better than league-average in most categories. The Nuggets are easier to score on without Aaron Gordon (hamstring) and the previously mentioned Christian Braun. Marshall has tallied at least 14 points in each of his previous eight outings. In what could be a high-scoring affair, the underrated wing is worth consideration tonight.
