DraftKings NBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball Picks Today: Top Picks for December 23

Published:

By: Bill Yin

We have one more gigantic NBA slate tonight with a whopping 14 games before we’re off tomorrow and then back on Christmas. The night tips off with the Nets visiting the 76ers at 7 PM EST, and concludes with the Rockets visiting the Clippers at 10:30 PM EST as Harden hosts his former team.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.

Donovan Mitchell More than 29.5 Points

Mitchell poured in six triples last night alongside 30 points. He’s leading the league with 4.1 threes per game and is powering this Cavaliers offense efficiently, setting career-highs in multiple categories such as PPG, 3PM, 3P%, 2P%, and FTM. I’m expecting him to continue his rampage tonight in a home game against the Pelicans, whose defense leaves a lot to be desired.

Nikola Jokic More Than 12.5 Rebounds

Jokic is somehow leading the league in both rebounds and assists, with 12.1 and 10.8 respectively. He’ll go up against the Dallas Mavericks tonight, who are dead last in opponent rebounds conceded per game with 58.6 despite having Anthony Davis. Jokic has been automatic on the glass his entire career, and has averaged 12.4 RPG per-36 minutes throughout all his years in the league.

Jalen Johnson More Than 26.5 Points

Johnson has not been hampered whatsoever by Trae Young’s return, although his usage will presumably split as he cedes some workload back to Young. He’s now averaging a career-high 23.8 PPG and has scored over 30 points twice in his last five games. He’ll get a soft matchup tonight against the 13-15 Bulls and will likely go off again as he continues his career year.
