Inter-conference squads go head-to-head on Monday Night Football, as the Indianapolis Colts host the San Francisco 49ers at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Niners (10–4, 3rd NFC West) have already clinched a playoff berth, while the Colts (8–6, 3rd AFC South) have sputtered from their hot start and now hold just a 5% chance of making the postseason.
San Francisco, currently holding the sixth seed, will look to keep the momentum with its fifth consecutive win. They’ll likely lean on star running back Christian McCaffrey, who has shouldered much of the offensive responsibility down the stretch.
Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET. San Francisco enters as a 4.5-point road favorite, while Indianapolis sits as a +195 underdog. The game’s total is set at 45.5 points.

Christian McCaffrey 20+ Rush Attempts (+190)
Christian McCaffrey continues to be one of the NFL’s most dominant running backs. He ranks fourth in the league with 259 carries for 922 yards and nine touchdowns — five of those coming in his last four games.
On Monday night, the former first-round pick will face a Colts defense that ranks fourth in opponent rushing yards per game and is tied with Seattle for the fewest yards per carry. With his weekly yardage totals fluctuating, a massive breakout in Indianapolis feels unlikely.
Still, the Stanford product has seen no shortage of opportunities down the stretch. McCaffrey has logged 20 or more carries in seven games this season, including each of his last three. With the Niners still playing for postseason seeding, expect them to keep feeding their star back consistently on MNF.
Christian McCaffery 5+ Receptions (-151)
While Indianapolis’ rush defense is strong, its passing coverage has been spotty at best. The Colts rank 30th in the NFL in both opponent passing yards and receptions per game.
With this in mind, San Francisco could look to keep McCaffrey involved in the passing game, just as he has been for much of the season. Before seeing just one target in Week 15 against the Titans, McCaffrey had logged five or more receptions in all but two games — leading the Niners in targets on six separate occasions.
With receiver Ricky Pearsall sidelined, count on McCaffrey to see an uptick in targets and corral at least five receptions on Monday night.
