UPDATE: Vikings RB Jordan Mason (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of the game. Aaron Jones (ankle) has returned to the game.
During the Minnesota Vikings’ opening drive against the New York Giants, Jordan Mason suffered a leg injury and was forced to leave the game. After slowly getting off the field, Mason was carted to the locker room with his head down. He is officially listed as questionable to return with what is being labeled an ankle issue.
To make matters worse, Aaron Jones also took a trip to the medical tent and is questionable to return with an ankle injury as well.
Jones had one carry for -1 yards, and Mason had two carries for five yards in the opening drive. Mason also tallied one reception for six yards, which was the play on which the injury occurred.
