The Dolphins will play host to the Bengals at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday afternoon. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Miami is a +185 underdog on the Moneyline, with the game’s total set at O/U 47.5 points.
Below, I’ll go over my favorite player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Sunday’s NFL Week 16 matchup between the Dolphins and Bengals.
Dolphins vs. Bengals Best Prop Bets
Darren Waller Anytime TD Scorer (+280)
The 33-year-old tight end has found the back of the end zone six times across seven games played, and should be his rookie quarterback’s security blanket on Sunday. Quinn Ewers will make his first NFL start following the benching of Tua Tagovailoa, and Ewers loved to throw to his tight end in his final season at Texas. I’d expect Mike McDaniel to make it easy on Ewers, and that should result in plenty of opportunities for Waller to work his magic, especially in the red zone. It certainly helps when he is facing the Bengals, who have been the worst defense against opposing tight ends by far, giving up the most receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns to the position. Cincinnati has given up five more receiving touchdowns to opposing tight ends than the next closest team.
De’Von Achane Over 112.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-110)
It’s worth noting that Achane’s splits without Tua Tagovailoa are alarming, but much like Waller, I think Achane will be utilized heavily to make things easy on Ewers in his first NFL start. The Bengals’ defense ranks 30th in rushing EPA and first in 20+ yard runs allowed. It also helps that the third-year back averages 18 rushing attempts per game at Hard Rock Stadium, compared to just 11.3 when playing on the road. Achane is also an obvious receiving threat out of the backfield, and it just so happens that Cincinnati has allowed the seventh-most receptions, third-most receiving yards and second-most receiving touchdowns to opposing running backs this season. The Bengals have also allowed 10 different running backs to eclipse 100+ rushing and receiving yards, and it’s hard to imagine Achane not being a part of that group.
