Ole Miss vs. Georgia College Football Playoff Odds
The Rebels (12-1) put on a dominant display against the Green Wave, securing their first-ever CFP win and improving to 1-0 without former head coach Lane Kiffin. Under Pete Golding, Ole Miss jumped out to an early lead and never looked back — ballooning their cushion all the way to 31 points by the final whistle.
They’ll look to rewrite history against the Bulldogs (12-1), who pulled out a 43-35 win in the teams’ first meeting on Oct. 18.
Georgia had a first-round bye after thumping Alabama in the SEC title game, and it has some history of its own that it would like to rewrite. Before they can compete for their third CFP title (2021, 2022), the Bulldogs must make it out of the Sugar Bowl, where they fell to Notre Dame last season.
The winner of the Sugar Bowl will play either No. 2 Ohio State or No. 10 Miami in the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 8.
Looking at the futures market, Georgia holds the third-highest odds to win the national championship at +500, and Ole Miss holds the longest odds at +2200.
Ohio State remains the frontrunner to repeat as national champs.
