Packers vs. Bears Best Prop Bets
Josh Jacobs anytime touchdown (-105)
The Packers defeated the Bears 28-21 in Week 14. It was a major victory with such a tight NFC North race taking place. This round is just as critical, if not more. That’s why Green Bay will lean on Josh Jacobs.
Jacobs is up to 13 rushing touchdowns this year, which is tied for the second most in the league with Jahmyr Gibbs. Only Jonathan Taylor has more (16). In that Week 14 matchup, Jacobs rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. He also ran for a touchdown in Week 15.
The veteran back has found the endzone in 10 of 13 games this season. It seems like a no-brainer when priced at -105 odds. What makes this less appealing, however, is Chicago’s run defense. It’s allowing the 12th fewest rushing touchdowns in the NFL.
That number isn’t the most impressive mark, but the run stop is much better than the pass defense. The Bears allow the fifth most passing touchdowns in the league.
Caleb Williams over 18.5 completions (-128)
Just two weeks ago, Caleb Williams completed 19-of-35 passes for 186 yards, two touchdowns and one interception against Green Bay. That was on the road, and more importantly, was with Micah Parsons on the defensive line.
Parsons suffered a torn ACL, so he’s out for the year. Green Bay’s defense takes a significant hit because of this, and Williams should benefit this week. Whether Parsons recorded a sack or quarterback hit, he always drew attention from the offensive line. His absence alone will allow Chicago’s offensive line and Williams to operate more freely.
The Packers’ pass rush won’t be as potent, which should give Williams ample time to make the correct reads.
