NBA Best Bets: Lakers vs. Clippers Prop Bets for Saturday 12/20/25

A brilliant night of NBA basketball wraps up with a rivalry matchup from Los Angeles as the Lakers visit the Clippers. This matchup is the final matchup on the scoreboard at 10:30 p.m. ET, and it concludes the NBA TV triple-header which starts with the Rockets and Nuggets and continues with the Hornets and Pistons. The Lakers and Clippers should provide the perfect punctuation to finish the evening, so let’s pick out some player prop bets to consider on DraftKings Sportsbook.

In the overall picture of the matchup, the Lakers are slight 1.5-point road favorites, with the game total set at 229.5. This will be the first matchup between these teams this season.

The Lakers lost in the NBA Cup Quarterfinals to the Spurs but bounced back with wins over the Suns and Jazz to improve to 19-7 on the season. The Clippers, on the other hand, have dropped five straight games and are 6-21 after losing by 21 in Oklahoma City on Thursday.

This is always a heated rivalry, and the Clippers’ new home at the Intuit Dome will host what should be a spicy Saturday night finale. Check out my top player prop bets this West Coast contest:

Lakers vs. Clippers Best Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Luka Doncic over 44.5 Points + Rebounds (-122)

Doncic went off for 45 points (no rebounds needed) in his last game while adding 11 rebounds and 14 assists. He has averaged 35.5 points and 9.1 rebounds this season for 44.6 points plus rebounds overall.

The Lakers’ star has gone over his high prop line in five of his last eight games dating back to the last time he faced the Clippers. He had 43 points and nine rebounds for 52 points plus rebounds to go comfortably over this prop line in that contest.

In the rematch, he won’t have Austin Reaves (calf) or Deandre Ayton (elbow), so he’ll have to again carry the load against the Clippers on Saturday, setting him up with a good chance to go over this big prop.

Bogdan Bogdanovic over 10.5 Points + Rebounds (-124)

Bogdanovic has slowly worked his way into a more involved role over the last few weeks, earning playing time in the Clippers’ second unit.  He made his first start of the season on Thursday with James Harden (calf) out, and he went over this prop with 14 points and two rebounds.

He will likely return to the bench on Saturday, but he should still have a good shot to get at least 11 points and rebounds. He has gone over this prop line in seven of his last 11 games (64%), but he was out for the first matchup between these teams due to a hip injury.

The Clippers need more scoring and spark, so Bogdanovic could earn extra playing time with more performances like Thursday’s.

Jaxson Hayes over 12.5 Points + Rebounds (-108)

The Lakers will be without Ayton for a second straight game, opening up playing time and usage for Jaxson Hayes. Hayes is only averaging 5.7 points and 3.9 rebounds per game, for a total of 9.6 points and rebounds.

In his three games with Ayton, though, he is averaging 13.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. Hayes stepped into the starting role on Thursday and had 16 points and three rebounds, well over this prop line even though he only played 22 minutes.

Hayes could have to play more minutes against Ivica Zubac if the Clippers stay big with Zubac, John Collins, and former Laker Brook Lopez. Hayes will likely have to play big minutes, and he should have no trouble going over this prop line.
