In our first Saturday night primetime football game of 2025, the Packers will head to Chicago to take on the Bears in a clash that will give the winner control of the NFC North. Need an example of how awesome this tilt might end up being? Look no further than Week 14, when these same two squads squared-off in a very entertaining 28-21 nail-biter, with Green Bay coming out on top at Lambeau.

Bears at Packers First Touchdown Scorer Prop Bets
Colston Loveland First Touchdown Scorer (+1000)
I mean, who else is left on this roster? The Bears will be without both Rome Odunze (foot) and Luther Burden III (ankle) in Week 16, which leaves quite the burden — pun intended — on the 10th-overall pick in last year’s NFL Draft. To be fair to Colston Loveland, the rookie has developed as a legit offensive option as the season’s rolled along. Loveland averaged only 1.8 receptions and 19.3 yards in his first six games with Chicago, but those numbers have shot up in his last seven contests to 4.0 catches and 54.6 yards, respectively. It’s a span where the 6’6 tight end has also found the end zone four times, with his most recent touchdown coming versus this same Packers defense in Week 14. With expanded responsibilities, I’ll take my shot on Loveland, as he also has slightly more tantalizing odds than DJ Moore (+850), who finds himself in a very similar position.
Jayden Reed First Touchdown Scorer (+1300)
Few teams run an aerial attack the spreads the ball around as much as the Packers, which can make selecting a single player for betting or fantasy a bit of a headache. Still, that same offense ranks first in the NFL in EPA per passing play (0.25), so it’s pretty difficult to argue with the results. Specific to Saturday’s first touchdown scorer odds, it feels like there’s some value to be had with Jayden Reed, who has suited up for Green Bay’s last two contests after missing several months with a broken collarbone. In Week 15 against the Broncos, Reed logged a season-high 65.2% snap share and tied with Luke Musgrave (+2500) for the team-lead in targets (6). Some of this was due to an injury to Christian Watson (+1000), yet even if the wideout is able to play through his chest ailment, I don’t think he’ll be close to 100%. That should continue to create extra opportunities for Reed, who racked up 14 receiving touchdowns across 2023 and 2024 with the Packers. When healthy, this man is a proven red zone weapon.
