Dallas Goedert First Touchdown Scorer (+950)
Everyone’s saying it. The Eagles’ new favorite pet play near the goal line is a Jalen Hurts (+600) underhand flip to Dallas Goedert. You’ve been replaced, Tush Push. Alright, maybe that’s a little extreme, yet there’s no denying that Philadelphia has featured its TE quite a bit in high-leverage situations this season. Not only does Goedert lead the Eagles’ pass-catchers with a 28.2% target share in the red zone through 15 weeks, but he’s translated that volume into nine touchdowns — more than he’s had in the past three seasons combined. Matchup is also an important factor to consider when backing the veteran on Saturday, as the Commanders have surrendered more touchdowns per game to opposing tight ends than any other NFC squad (0.6). That includes three scores to Vikings’ TEs as recently as Week 14.
Chris Rodriguez Jr. First Touchdown Scorer (+1200)
I guess you can debate whether or not Chris Rodriguez is the Commanders’ lead running back, especially after Jacory Croskey-Merritt (+2200) ran for 96 yards and a touchdown last weekend against the Giants, but either way, it’s rare to see a team’s top option at the goal line with first touchdown odds this long. Rodriguez missed Week 15 due to a groin issue, yet he was a full participant in practice on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and does not have an injury designation for Saturday’s contest. In the last three games that Rodriguez was available for, the former sixth-round pick led the team in rushing attempts every single week, while he also out-snapped Croskey-Merritt on all three occasions. Even before Rodriguez was RB1, he was Washington’s primary option near the end zone, a role Dan Quinn was clear Rodriguez would have after the team traded away Brian Robinson Jr. in the preseason. I’ll take my chances with Rodriguez in a matchup with an Eagles defense that has allowed more opponent rushing touchdowns than passing touchdowns in 2025.
