NFL on Saturday? I’d pay good money for this arrangement to stay. I’d even get down on my knees and pray. But I know that’s a pipe dream because college football is a behemoth and they have much to say. I guess I’ll just have to turn on the NBA and watch players drain J after J. But today, we survey the player pool and try to figure out who will blow up like a scene in a Michael Bay. The spreadsheets are open with stats galore. Which ones shall I weight more heavily? Which ones should I convey? Navigating through it all makes my fingers dance like in a ballet. Hopefully, they do not lead us astray. That would bring much dismay, causing me to pick up smoking again, crushing butts in the ashtray. I will try and be your humble attache. May the contents in the briefcase allow you to slay.
We’ve got two games on this Saturday slate. Per DraftKings Sportsbook, PHI is -7 on the road over WAS with the total at 44.5. CHI is -1.5 at home over GB with the total at 46.5.

Quarterback
Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears ($5,700) – Love looks like the best thing since the internet at times. Most of the time, though, Love just straight hurts, primarily due to the conservative nature of the Packers offense. Love attempted fewer than 30 passes seven times this season and has thrown for one or fewer touchdowns seven times. On the flip side, he’s thrown at least three touchdowns four times and gone over 30 FPTS twice. This game has a healthy total of 46.5. The loss of Micah Parsons could affect the Packers’ defense, potentially leading to the Bears putting up points. That would mean Love would have to respond aggressively. In addition, Josh Jacobs is questionable and could be out, which could put more offensive responsibilities on the shoulder of Love in this one.
Other Options – Caleb Williams ($5,500), Marcus Mariota ($5,000)
Running Back
Kyle Monangai, Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers ($4,900) – It’s a thunder and lightning backfield in Chicago, with Monangai playing the role of thunder. Two weeks ago against the Packers, Monangai carried 14 times for 54 yards. He had two red-zone opportunities. D’Andre Swift is questionable with a groin injury, so there’s a chance Monangai is the bellcow. When Swift missed a game back in Week 9, Monangai carried 26 times for 176 yards while hauling in three of five targets for 22 yards. Granted, that was against the Bengals’ defense, which is Charmin-soft. The Packers have been stout against the run this season but volume is volume.
Other Options – Chris Rodriguez ($5,400), Emanuel Wilson ($4,300) if Josh Jacobs is out.
Wide Receiver
Olamide Zaccheaus, Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers ($3,500) – Both Rome Odunze and Luther Burden have been ruled out, so Zaccheaus and DJ Moore will likely be the top two receivers. Zaccheaus has been a staple of the rotation all season and put up double-digit FPTS in two contests. The ceiling isn’t high, but he’s too cheap for the expected playing time and potential volume.
Other Options – Terry McLaurin ($5,900), DeVonta Smith ($5,700), DJ Moore ($5,300), Christian Watson ($5,200), Deebo Samuel ($5,100)
Tight End
John FitzPatrick, Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears ($2,500) – FitzPatrick is more of the blocking tight end for Green Bay, but he received four targets last week with one red-zone look. Luke Musgrave got six targets and one red zone look. The ownership will likely be much higher for Musgrave, especially with only a $200 price difference, but FitzPatrick has received almost 20% more snaps over the last two weeks.
Other Options – Luke Musgrave ($2,700)
Defense/Special Teams
Bears DST vs. Green Bay Packers ($2,500) – I hate this recommendation because the Bears run defense hasn’t been good, allowing 5.0 yards per carry, and we know Green Bay wants to run the ball. That said, the Bears are at home and the Packers don’t have Micah Parsons and could be without Josh Jacobs. That could mean more dropbacks for Jordan Love, who has been good at protecting the ball with only six interceptions, but he’s taken 21 sacks.
