Kennesaw State has a well-balanced offense, led by quarterback Amari Odom. Odom is a strong passer, but can also use his legs and create plays. Amari Odom actually led the team in rushing touchdowns during the season, but Bennett finished the season strong, with three touchdowns in the Owls’ final two games. Not only is Bennett the team’s leading rusher, but he also finished third on the team in receiving yards. Kennesaw State should attack Western Michigan on the ground. The Broncos have a solid pass defense, but rank 77th in the nation in defensive EPA/rush. The Owls should lean on the ground game, which should allow Bennett to find the end zone in the program’s first-ever bowl game.
