Arkansas State and Missouri State face off in the Xbox Bowl in Frisco, Texas. For Arkansas State, it was a middling season with no real highlights. The Red Wolves finished 6-6, right in the middle of the pack in the Sun Belt. This is the third straight season in a bowl game for Butch Jones’ squad, and they are 1-1 in those first two games. For Missouri State, this is an exciting moment. The Bears played their first season at the FBS level in 2025, bumping up to Conference USA from the FCS. They performed well, winning seven games on the back of an exciting passing offense.
My best bet is for Missouri State wide receiver Jmariyae Robinson to score a touchdown. Bears’ quarterback Jacob Clark had a great first season at the FBS level, throwing for nearly 2,900 yards. He also threw for 24 touchdowns on the season, the 19th-most in the nation. Jmariyae Robinson was Clark’s leader in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. Robinson finished the season strong, too, with five touchdowns in his final five games. The Arkansas State defense ranks 131st in the nation in defensive drop back success rate, so Missouri State should be able to move it through the air. Robinson should keep his hot streak going and score a touchdown in the Xbox Bowl.
