Fantasy Basketball Value Picks: Top DraftKings NBA DFS Bargain Plays for Monday 12/15/25

Updated:

By: Alex Hunter

DraftKings’ main NBA DFS slate for Monday starts at 7:00 PM ET and features the first four games of the night. DraftKings continues to offer huge contests for DFS players and below, I dive into two of my favorite bargain plays for this slate.

Set your DraftKings fantasy basketball lineups here: NBA $200K Fadeaway [$50K to 1st]

PG, Brandon Williams, Dallas Mavericks at Utah Jazz, $4,200

While unlikely to start, Williams should be one of the primary beneficiaries with D’Angelo Russell (illness) out tonight. In the five games the veteran has missed this season, Williams is producing 27.9 FPTS in 27 minutes per game. With Russell off the floor this season, Williams is amassing 1.1 FPTS per minute with a strong 23.5% usage rate.

Ranking fourth in pace and 29th in defensive rating this season, the Jazz are one of the top matchups in the league to attack and Williams should effortlessly outproduce his cheap $4,200 salary in this juicy spot. Williams is an easy choice tonight and his stock would become even stronger if Anthony Davis (questionable, calf) is also ruled out. With both Russell and Davis off the floor this season, Williams’ usage rate increases to a team-high 25.8%.

UPDATE: Williams has been downgraded to questionable with an Achilles injury, which is obviously worrisome. Ryan Nembhard ($4,500) was a solid value play to begin with, but if Williams is out, Nembhard will likely see a huge role and he will be one of the top values on the slate.

C, Kevin Love, Utah Jazz vs. Dallas Mavericks, $3,900

Love was huge in the Jazz’s road win over the Grizzlies this past Friday. The veteran went off for a season-best 35.5 FPTS in just 20 minutes off the bench while shooting 8-of-15 from the field. Starting center Jusuf Nurkic was available for this contest and logged 27.3 minutes, but he will be out tonight for rest purposes, leaving Utah thin on big men, as Walker Kessler (shoulder) is out for the season.

Kyle Filipowski should start at center in place of Nurkic, but Love should see right around 20 minutes off the bench, which is more than enough time for him to beat his $3,900 salary, regardless of this being a lackluster matchup vs. the Mavericks, who rank seventh in defensive rating. This season, Love is generating 1.0 FPTS per minute with a 17.6% usage rate and he is averaging 19.3 FPTS per game for the nine instances he has logged at least 15 minutes.
