What happened to Christian Watson? Live injury updates for Packers at Broncos on Sunday 12/14/25

UPDATE: Watson will not return.

In the third quarter of Sunday’s game vs. Denver, WR Christian Watson went up for a 50/50 deep ball against Patrick Surtain II. The Broncos’ star cornerback intercepted the ball, and Watson looked to have landed awkwardly on his shoulder in the process.

Watson was clearly in immediate pain after hitting the deck and went to the blue tent before heading to the locker room. He is listed as questionable to return with what they are calling a chest injury.

Before exiting, he caught three of five targets for 29 yards. Watson had been a huge part of the Packers’ offense in recent weeks, scoring five touchdowns in Green Bay’s previous four games before this contest.
