On Sunday’s NFL Week 15 slate, two Super Bowl contenders duel in the Mile High City as the Denver Broncos (11-2) host the Green Bay Packers (9-3-1). These are quality teams with great defenses on each side, so this matchup has the makings of one of the most exciting of the day.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Green Bay is a slim -1.5 favorite with -122 odds on the Moneyline. Denver comes in with +102 ML odds at home with the game total set at 42.5 combined points.
Here are the top player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Packers vs. Broncos in Week 15.
Packers vs. Broncos best prop bets
Bo Nix over 17.5 rushing yards (-107)
After a standout rookie campaign last year in which he recorded 430 yards and four touchdowns on 92 rush attempts, Bo Nix has stepped back slightly via the ground in his second season. He’s logged 55 rush attempts thus far in 13 games with an average of 18.8 yards on the ground per contest, down from last year’s mark of 25.3. While he started fairly strong in the rushing department, Nix has run for just 37 yards across his last four games combined after tallying at least 18 yards in seven of his first nine outings. However, there’s reason to think he can break this recent cold stretch in Week 15. The Packers possess one of the NFL’s best defensive fronts with a QB pressure rate of 36.3%, the ninth-highest of any team. Despite the Broncos’ pass protection ranking among the league’s elite, Nix may have defenders coming his way often in this game. With the pass rush in his face, the quarterback should roll out of the pocket and take off enough times to tally 18 rushing yards in this game.
Jayden Reed over 36.5 receiving yards (-114)
The Packers face an uphill battle against perhaps the top defensive unit in the NFL, but the fight may be even more difficult if halfback Josh Jacobs is battling through an injury or misses the game entirely. He carried a questionable tag due to his knee issue at the time this article was written, so keep an eye on any news regarding his status. Whether he plays or not though, Green Bay may need to throw the ball a little more than usual in order to keep the chains moving against a run defense allowing the fewest yards per carry and second-fewest rushing yards per game. With that in mind, Jayden Reed could see additional work after making his return from a broken collarbone just last week. In his first game back, the young wideout caught all four of his targets for 31 yards. He also hauled in three of his five looks for 45 yards and a score in his only other healthy contest back in Week 1. Reed should grow more involved as he gets healthier, so whether Jordan Love looks to dink-and-dunk his way to glory or gets license to air the ball out, his slot receiver could prove crucial as a playmaker.
