The fourth-year back draws a Week 15 matchup against a poor Jets’ defense that ranks 28th in rushing EPA and has allowed the second-most touchdowns to opposing running backs. He has totaled 2+ touchdowns in two of the past three games and is coming off a season-high 71.9% snap count percentage in Week 14. Additionally, the Jets’ defense has allowed opposing running backs such as James Cook, Javonte Williams, Chase Brown, TreVeyon Henderson and Derrick Henry to each post multiple-touchdown games. Jacksonville ranks 12th in rush EPA and has scored 25+ points in six straight games, which should make the game script friendly, too.
Brady Cook Over 30.5 Pass Attempts (-110)
With both Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor on the shelf, it is time to “Let Brady Cook”. The 24-year-old rookie will make his first career NFL start on Sunday against a tough Jaguars’ defense that ranks sixth in EPA/play. Cook attempted 30 passes in Week 14 against the Dolphins and should see even more passing opportunities in Week 15. Teams are simply not running the ball against the Jaguars, thanks to how elite the run defense has been. Jacksonville’s defense has faced the fewest carries but the most passing attempts in the NFL, and that trend should continue against the Jets, who will likely be playing from behind all game.
