NFL Best Bets: Bengals vs. Ravens Best Prop Bets for Week 15

The Ravens are fighting for their season in Week 15 and looking to get revenge against the Bengals. It should be a good battle between these two AFC North rivals in the early window of the Sunday slate.

Baltimore is a 2.5-point favorite, with a total of 51.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Here are my favorite player props for this Week 15 NFL game between the Ravens and Bengals.

Bengals vs. Ravens Best Prop Bets

Chase Brown o19.5 Receiving Yards (-111)

The last time these two teams faced off, Chase Brown torched the Ravens’ secondary. While it’s no easy task, the Ravens will make adjustments to make sure Chase doesn’t do that to them again this time around. In that first matchup this season, Chase Brown was the team’s second-leading receiver, after Ja’Marr Chase, going for 35 yards on seven catches. Chase Brown has been getting substantial targets as a receiver all season, averaging 5.2 targets per game and 3.9 receptions per game. The Bengals have such dangerous wide receiver threats on the outside and even a solid tight end group, which often allows Brown to be neglected by opposing defenses.

The Ravens are one of the worst teams in the league at defending running backs in the passing game. The Ravens are allowing 5.2 receptions per game and 41.9 receiving yards per game to opposing running backs, both bottom-five marks in the league. Brown took advantage of that two weeks ago and should do so again to get over 19.5 receiving yards in this game. Over his last six games, Brown is averaging 34.2 receiving yards per game. During that six-game stretch, Brown has gone for at least 20 receiving yards five times. There is also a chance that Tee Higgins misses this game with a concussion, which would only increase Brown’s usual target share. He should get over this number against the Ravens for the second time in three weeks.

Derrick Henry o88.5 rushing yards (-114)

This has a chance to be Derrick Henry’s biggest game of the season. December is when Derrick Henry has traditionally done his best work in the NFL. He takes care of his body so well that late into the season, when other players are worn down and not playing at 100%, he is as strong as ever. The cold weather also makes him harder to tackle. He is one of the most bruising players in the league and is difficult to bring down on any day. However, in freezing conditions at this time of the season, taking that contact from Henry really hurts. Ignoring January, where Henry has only played five career regular-season games, his stats in December are by far his best. In the month of December, he is averaging 92.5 rushing yards per game on 5.1 yards per rush. His next best figures by month are 83.5 yards per game and 4.9 yards per carry.

Not only is it the perfect time of year for Henry, but it is also the perfect opponent. The Bengals rank 30th in the NFL in defensive EPA/rush, 30th in defensive rushing success rate and 32nd in rushing yards per game allowed. Last time these teams faced, the Ravens had massive turnover issues and put themselves in a hole early. That allowed Joe Burrow to jump on them and forced the Ravens to play from behind. In this matchup, Todd Monken should focus on feeding Henry. He should be able to move it efficiently on the ground, but a heavy run game also keeps the ball out of Joe Burrow’s hands and allows the Ravens to control the pace of the game. In a must-win game for Baltimore, Derrick Henry should put forward one of his best games of the season.
