Matthew Stafford O 282.5 Passing Yards (-111)

Stafford is arguably playing the best football of his career this season. The quarterback ranks first in passer rating (113.7), fourth in passing yards (3,354) and seventh in YPA (7.8). Stafford is the highest-graded quarterback on PFF and while he has only exceeded 282.5 passing yards in three games this season, Sunday’s matchup vs. the Lions is a perfect spot for him to have a huge day as a passer.

Since their bye in Week 8, the Lions are giving up the third-most passing yards (1,500), the sixth-most yards per pass (7.9), and the second-most passing plays of 15+ yards (39). At 54.5 points, this game carries one of the highest totals the NFL has seen this season and this is a massive tilt for both sides.

Plus, Stafford will be on his home turf, where he is averaging a huge 44.9 more passing yards per game than when on the road this season. Stafford’s terrific season should continue with another excellent outing Sunday and he is a strong bet for over 282.5 passing yards.
