Following a massive 13-game slate on Thursday night, the NHL returns with just a two-game slate on Friday night, with first puck drop set for 8:00 p.m. ET. The Blues played last night and will be the only team operating on zero days’ rest.

Best NHL props for Friday 12/12/25
Connor Bedard 1+ Assist (-115)
Bedard has notched at least one assist in 15-of-30 games this season, including 10-of-15 away games. While the Blackhawks have struggled since mid-November, they’re coming off a 3-0 win over the Rangers, a game in which Bedard notched a goal and an assist. He has totaled an assist in back-to-back games and should be able to take advantage of a Blues team that ranks first in 5v5 goals against per 60. Additionally, the 20-year-old notched three assists in an 8-3 win over the Blues on Oct. 15, just five games into the season.
Mikhail Sergachev 3+ Shots on Goal (+210)
The odds are juicy, but this prop feels like good value. Sergachev has cleared 3+ SOG in just 13-of-32 games this season, but he has cleared 3+ SOG in 10 of the past 20 games for Utah. Tonight, he draws a solid matchup against a Kraken squad that allows the 14th-most shots per game to opposing defensemen. It’s also good that the Mammoth are playing at home, because Sergachev has averaged 5.8 shot attempts per game at the Delta Center, compared to just 3.9 on the road. In general, the Mammoth play better at home, averaging more goals and shots per game, and I think Sergachev can continue to chuck pucks on net.
