This week’s Thursday Night Football matchup features an NFC South battle between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons. Baker Mayfield and the Bucs are trying to cling onto the top spot in the division. Atlanta’s season is over, but the Falcons still boast multiple capable offensive playmakers. It’s only right that in Mike Evans’ triumphant (and shockingly early) return to the lineup, he finds the end zone.
Tampa Bay’s receiving corps are in dire need of an injection of talent. After a historically great start to his rookie season, Emeka Egbuka has been arguably detrimental to the team’s efforts down the stretch. His dropped wide-open touchdown against New Orleans cost them that game.
Chris Godwin has been a solid piece of the puzzle after returning from injury, but is by no means a scoring machine. So, Evans should immediately step back in as Baker Mayfield’s top end zone threat. Atlanta has surrendered the fourth-most receiving touchdowns to WRs, setting the stage for a big outing for Evans.

Kyle Pitts (+240)
Kyle Pitts has scored one touchdown through 14 weeks. In most cases, that means you should leave a player alone in this particular market. However, I think it has created a perfect situation with fantastic value for the breakout tight end.
This year, Pitts has been the playmaker Falcons fans were envisioning after he was drafted in 2021. Obviously he flashed this potential during his rookie campaign, but it’s been nice to see him regain some of that elite form.
On Thursday night, Pitts draws a matchup with a struggling Bucs secondary. Tampa Bay is surrendering the 10th-most points per contest and has been especially vulnerable against tight ends. Todd Bowles’ squad is tied for the fifth-most scores allowed to the position, setting the stage for Pitts to finally find the end zone after weeks of strong production between the goal lines.
