The Pacers are hosting the Kings on Monday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Indiana is favored by 3.5 points and this game carries a total of 234.5 points.
Below, I dive into three of my favorite player prop bets for Monday’s matchup between the Pacers and the Kings on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Best Pacers vs. Kings Player Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Russell Westbrook U 6.5 Rebounds (-110)
With rookie center Maxime Raynaud taking on a bigger role in the last two games, logging 32 and 25 minutes, Westbrook has been far less active on the glass, tallying four and one rebounds in these contests. The guard is averaging just 6.5 rebounds chances per game in these tilts, which is a notable drop from his 10.3 average for the season. Overall, when sharing the floor with Raynaud this season, Westbrook’s rebound rate drops 2.2 percentage points to 10.8% and he is averaging 5.9 rebounds per 30 minutes, which is right around his 28.3 minutes per game average this season.
With Raynaud likely to start for the second straight game, Westbrook is a wise bet to fall short of 6.5 rebounds tonight.
DeMar DeRozan U 18.5 Points (-107)
While this is a strong matchup vs. the Pacers, who rank 21st in defensive rating, DeRozan is a compelling bet for under 18.5 points. The veteran has taken a big step backward this season, averaging 17.9 PPG with a 20.8% usage rate, after averaging 22.2 PPG with a 25% usage rate last season.
DeRozan has been subpar as of late, falling short of 18.5 points in nine of his last 12 and with Raynaud entering the starting five in their past game, DeRozan only scored 13 points with a 12.2% usage rate. With Raynaud on the floor this season, DeRozan’s usage decreases 2.8 percentage points to 18.4%.
Jay Huff U 5.5 Rebounds (-145)
Despite starting at center for the Pacers, Huff remained under 5.5 rebounds in three straight games. During this stretch, the veteran is only averaging 2.7 rebounds on 6.7 rebound chances in 24 minutes per game.
Huff’s 9.7% rebound rate this season is very underwhelming for a big man. He should fall short of 5.5 rebounds tonight, regardless of this being a plus matchup vs. the Kings, who are giving up the fifth-most rebounds per game this season.
