Entering their final five games of the 2025 season, the Los Angeles Chargers sit in an interesting position. At 8-4, they currently hold the sixth seed in the AFC, but the Denver Broncos more or less have the division wrapped up, and with -185 odds to make the playoffs, they’re the second-closest team to being a true 50/50.
Of course, Los Angeles’ playoff odds would increase dramatically if it can pull off an upset against the Philadelphia Eagles tonight on Monday Night Football. The game will begin at 8:15 p.m. ET, and it will be aired on ESPN.
The Chargers are 2.5-point underdogs for tonight’s marquee matchup at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total set to 41.5. Below, I’ve detailed my favorite prop bets centered around Los Angeles’ signal-caller.

Justin Herbert U215.5 Passing Yards (-113)
Herbert had a season-low 81 passing yards in the Chargers’ blowout defeat against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 11 and only added 151 in a bounce-back win over the Las Vegas Raiders last week. He’s clearly hampered by injury, having sustained a fractured left hand in the Raiders game, and while he plans to play, it’s hard to imagine him being as effective, especially with his surgically-repaired hand likely to stiffen up in frigid Philadelphia conditions. Plus, Los Angeles got running back Omarion Hampton prior to tonight’s game, so it could lean heavily on him and Kimani Vidal.
While the Eagles have been inconsistent, they’re still good enough to limit the damage. Philadelphia disappointingly lost to the Chicago Bears in Week 13 but held Caleb Williams to just 154 passing yards in that game, and all in all, it has conceded more than 215 passing yards just five times all season. Even with the Eagles’ recent struggles as a team, they still have one of the league’s more dangerous cornerback duos in Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, as well as the sixth- and seventh-best coverage linebackers in Zack Baun and Jihaad Campbell. All in all, they’ve allowed the ninth-fewest passing yards and the lowest completion percentage and been worth the ninth-most expected points added on passing plays.
Justin Herbert U0.5 Interceptions (-127)
These go hand in hand: if an atypically cautious Herbert opts for short passes, handoffs, and quarterback keepers, he’s less likely to throw an interception. Though he’s reverted to his more turnover-prone ways after leading the league in interception percentage last season, he’s still gone interception-free on four separate occasions this season, so it’s hardly a guarantee that he’ll throw one tonight. Plus, for as talented as Philadelphia’s secondary is, it’s tied for 13th-to-last in interception percentage. Plus, Herbert targets wideouts at a higher rate than any other quarterback, per NFELO, and the only interception this season by an Eagles starting corner was DeJean’s Week 11 pick against Jared Goff.
