Jalen Brunson, New York Knicks at Toronto Raptors ($9,000)
It’s tough for Brunson to get into the elite tier of fantasy production due to the lack of rebounds and defensive stats, but the man sure can score and dish out dimes. That said, Brunson does have three games over 50 FPTS with a high of 60.8 FPTS. On the season, the usage rate is 31.4%. Without Karl-Anthony Towns in the lineup on Sunday, Brunson garnered a 34.7% usage rate. In competitive games, Brunson is also playing 38 to 39 minutes. Towns is questionable for his one, so Brunson could see an uptick in usage rate again. Even if Towns plays, it’s likely that Brunson will finish in the 40 FPTS range. On a small slate, raw points matter.

Anthony Black, Orlando Magic vs. Miami Heat ($5,400)
Black isn’t starting, but he’s become an integral part of the rotation off the bench. Over the past 11 games, he’s been playing in the 28-to-32-minute range and scored double-digit points in all but one of those contests while doing yeoman’s work on the glass, dishing out dimes and racking up steals. He’s put up over 20 FPTS in all of those games with seven over 30 FPTS and a high of 42.2 FPTS. With the Franz Wagner injury and Paolo Banchero slowly ramping back up, Black could also see an uptick in usage and playing time. Regardless, the environment should be a fantasy-friendly one as Miami is playing at the fastest pace in the league.

Norman Powell, Miami Heat at Orlando Magic ($6,800)
Powell and Miami have been a perfect fit for each other, especially in this new Heat offense. Powell tickles the twine with the best of them and has never been shy of making it rain from downtown. And in this Heat offense, he is afforded plenty of opportunities to huck and chuck. The usage rate is 27.8% and Powell is averaging 24.8 points while shooting 50% from the field. Powell has put up over 40 FPTS seven times this season. These teams met two games ago and Powell finished with 39.2 FPTS.

Tristan da Silva, Orlando Magic vs. Miami Heat ($4,000)
When Banchero was out, da Silva entered the starting lineup and averaged 26.7 minutes, 11 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.5 blocks over 10 games. That translated to over 20 FPTS in six of 10 games with three over 30 FPTS. Most of those were early on, though, as the production dissipated later. When Banchero returned, da Silva went back to a reserve role. With Wagner now injured, I think there’s a good chance da Silva returns to a prominent role. There is risk, though, because da Silva only played 18 minutes after Wagner exited after only seven minutes of run in the last contest, but the risk/reward seems worth it to me at this price.

Bam Adebayo, Miami Heat at Orlando Magic ($7,900)
Well, on a two-game slate, there aren’t many options at the top end of the price range at center. Towns is the other option and he’s questionable. So, Adebayo it is. A ringing endorsement! The last four games encapsulates the entire range of outcomes for Adebayo, as he’s put up 22.2, 33.2, 55.2 and 60.5 FPTS. The most likely outcome is somewhere in the high-30s to 40 FPTS range. Two games ago, Adebayo put up 55.2 FPTS against Orlando, but Tyler Herro was out for that one. Herro is probable for Tuesday.

Ariel Hukporti, New York Knicks at Toronto Raptors ($3,500)
This recommendation is only valid if Towns is out. On Sunday, Towns didn’t play, so Hukporti backed up Mitchell Robinson at center and received 23 minutes of run. Hukporti contributed six points, seven rebounds, two assists, three blocks and a steal, good for 25.2 FPTS. He’s very long and bouncy and can stuff the stat sheet. Towns is questionable for this one, so if he’s out, Hukporti will likely see 20+ minutes again. If Towns does play, then I’d pivot to Robinson.
