Week 14 of the NFL season set up a fantastic final four weeks of the year with a full Sunday of action that included some pivotal divisional contests, snow games, and some exciting finishes. The 11 games on the main slate also set up another chance for one entry to take home a million dollar top prize in the NFL $2.5M FANTASY FOOTBALL MILLIONAIRE [$1M TO 1ST]. The top entry from melvco was a unique construction from the pool of 147,058 entries in the Milly Maker and finished with 239.34 fantasy points. The entry finished an impressive 12 fantasy points clear of the rest of the field and used five players with ownership percentages below 10%.
Here’s a look at the highest-scoring entry from the Week 14 millionaire contest:
Contrarian Titans come through
In a game that didn’t have any playoff implications since both teams are well out of contention, the Titans and Browns clashed in Cleveland. Despite low expectations, the game was close and competitive throughout and provided an entertaining finish with plenty of fantasy points on display.
The top entry from melvco included Harold Fannin Jr. (28.4 FPTS) from the Browns, the Titans DST (7 FPTS), and Tony Pollard (31.1 FPTS) from this matchup, all at extremely low ownership.
Pollard was the most impressive leverage play that we’ve had in a top Milly Maker entry in a long time. He had a minuscule 0.3% ownership, but he was the No. 1 running back on the main slate with 161 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns on the ground against the Browns. His big day came out of nowhere against a very defense that had been excellent against the run.
The Titans defense was a solid value play under $3,000, picking up two sacks, two takeaways and a block against the Browns, earning seven fantasy points despite giving up 29 points.

Fannin and the Titans were both owned in under 10% of entries as well, giving this entry plenty of leverage and production from a matchup that turned out to be one of the best games of the early window.
Josh Allen dashing through the snow
The top entry from melvco also included Josh Allen (37.84 FPTS) from the early wave of games, and Allen delivered the top QB game of the slate while leading his team to a big comeback win over the Bengals in snowy Buffalo.
Allen finished with three passing touchdowns, a rushing touchdown, 251 passing yards, 78 rushing yards, and a successful two-point conversion.
Allen helped the Bills rally to a 39-34 win over the Bengals, a matchup that featured plenty of fantasy points flowing in both directions.
The entry also included Allen’s tight end, Dalton Kincaid (14.1 FPTS), who had a touchdown in his return from injury as part of his four catches for 41 yards.
DK Metcalf makes some noise and Josh Jacobs delivers
In two of the key divisional contests, the top entry selected successful stars who stepped up. The Steelers got a huge win over the Ravens behind a big game from DK Metcalf (24.8 FPTS), who finished with seven catches for a season-high 148 yards.
The Packers also secured a huge divisional win by knocking off the Bears in the later window, as Josh Jacobs (17.2 FPTS) turned in another very solid game with 86 rushing yards, six receiving yards, and another touchdown run.
His touchdown came shortly after that impressive first down and proved to be the difference in the team’s 28-21 victory that moved it to the top of the NFC North.
Dueling wide receivers
In another late divisional matchup, the top entry included both Michael Wilson (40.2 FPTS) and Puka Nacua (38.7 FPTS). Both receivers had outstanding games and helped push the melvco entry to the top of the heap with their tandem of two-touchdown games.
Wilson was the chalkiest play in the entry with an ownership over 40%, but the Cardinals’ receiver stepped up once again, hauling in 11 catches for 142 yards and two touchdowns while carrying a seriously depleted Cardinals’ pass-catching corps.
On the other side of that matchup, Puka came through in a big way in the big win for the Rams, catching two touchdowns as well and finishing with 167 receiving yards on seven catches.
Wilson and Nacua were the top two receivers on the slate, and this entry from melvco wisely stacked them in the late game to create a huge surge towards the end of the afternoon.
The Bottom Line
The two big games from those receivers propelled this entry to the top, but the leverage set up by the Titans and Tony Pollard truly made it stand out as the top lineup for Week 14.
