Colts’ starting quarterback Daniel Jones left today’s matchup with the Jaguars due to an Achilles injury. He has already been ruled out for the matchup in what was a non-contact injury.
It has been an overall stellar year for Daniel Jones in his first season with the Colts. He has played an essential part in the team’s 8-4 start to the season. Jones entered today having completed 67.9% of his pass attempts for 3,041 passing yards, 19 touchdowns, and seven interceptions while adding 160 rushing yards and five scores on the ground.
Riley Leonard will step in at quarterback for the Colts with Anthony Richardson still on Injured Reserve.
With Jones officially ruled out, because he left the game in the first half, DraftKings’ new Early Exit program will be in effect should Jones not return in the second half.
