It’s the cream of the AFC West against the doldrums on Sunday. The 10-2 Denver Broncos are moving closer to a division title behind an elite defense and robust offense. Las Vegas, meanwhile, is competing for the No. 1 pick. So far, the Pete Carroll-Geno Smith era has been an abject disaster. This divisional matchup brings a lot of interesting player props into the picture.
Denver is a 7.5-point favorite and -455 on the moneyline, while Las Vegas is +350 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 40.5 points.
Here are my favorite player props for this Week 14 NFL game between the Broncos and Raiders.
Broncos vs. Raiders Best Prop Bets
RJ Harvey Anytime Touchdown (-115)
Even at minus odds, there is value here. RJ Harvey has completely overtaken the Denver backfield since JK Dobbins’ injury, putting up back-to-back games with double-digit carries. It’s a great spot to be in for scoring against this Raiders defense.
Las Vegas has allowed 16 rushing touchdowns on the year, tied for the third-most in the NFL. They do well at handling the run between the 20s, but it falls apart in the red zone. And when the Broncos want to punch it in on the goal line, they’ll call on the rookie.
Ashton Jeanty Under 53.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
This is nowhere close to an ideal matchup for rookie Ashton Jeanty. Las Vegas comes into this game dead last in the NFL in total rushing yards and yards per carry. Now they have to face a Broncos defense that is top five in both metrics. Not what you want to see.
On top of that, the game script is working against Jeanty. This Raiders’ offense is rapidly collapsing, while the defense steadily declines. Denver should run riot in this game. And if they do, it means another long night for the former Boise State standout. Jeanty has been held under this line for three straight games, and I’m banking on a fourth here.
