There’s been some shakeup in the NFL with some new contenders leading the conferences, but one thing has remained the same: Josh Allen and the Bills are a Super Bowl favorite.
Despite being 8-4 and in the Wild Card, the Bills are still one of the elite teams in the league. They’ll face off against the 4-8 Bengals, who just recently got Joe Burrow back from injury.
Buffalo is a 5.5-point favorite and -270 on the moneyline, while Cincinnati is +220 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 53.5 points.
Here are my favorite player props for this Week 14 NFL game between the Bills and Bengals.
Bills vs. Bengals Best Prop Bets
Josh Allen + James Cook anytime touchdown parlay (+142)
The Allen and James Cook duo in Buffalo is one of the best quarterback-running back tandems in the NFL. The two have 20 total rushing + receiving touchdowns this season, and have been doing this for a number of years now.
Allen just became the all-time leader in quarterback rushing touchdowns last week, but don’t expect him to stop there. He’s facing the Bengals this week, which is one of the best matchups a rusher can ask for. Cincinnati allows the ninth most rushing touchdowns to opposing teams.
That same unit allows the second most rushing yards and fourth most carries. In a game that Buffalo should control the pace, Allen and Cook will have a plethora of carries and opportunities to score.
It’s not feasible to take either player for a single bet as the odds are too steep. That’s why I’m parlaying the two together, giving bettors plus-money value for one of the best rushing tandems in the league.
Chase Brown over 53.5 rushing yards (-109)
On the other side of this rushing battle, Chase Brown is playing great football lately. The 25-year-old has ran for over 70 yards in five of his last six games. The only exception was against the Bears in Week 9.
Luckily for Brown, he also has a good matchup this week. The Bills allow the third most rushing yards, second most yards per carry and most rushing touchdowns. This is a dream game for Brown, but there’s one problem: the Bengals’ defense.
For Brown to remain a consistent part of the offense late into the game, the Bengals’ defense needs to slow the Bills down a bit. If it’s a three-score game early on, the Bengals will be forced to air the ball out, which will limit Brown’s carries.
Cincinnati’s defense doesn’t give me much confidence, but the offense has done enough to stay competitive over the past six games. The Bengals only had one blowout loss in this stretch, but Brown still reached 99 rushing yards.
