Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season continues with a great Monday Night Football game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles Chargers. Jalen Hurts More than 0.5 Rush + Receiving Touchdowns
Jalen Hurts is back on the rushing touchdown train. Since 2021, Hurts leads the NFL in rushing touchdowns with 70 rushing scores in 83 games. However, he had a stretch in the middle of this season during which he had just one rushing score in six games. However, he appears to be back on track with three rushing touchdowns in his past three games. The Chargers’ defense ranks fourth in the NFL in dropback success rate but 16th in rushing success rate. The Eagles have a much better chance of finding the end zone on the ground than they do through the air. Whether it’s on a read option with Saquon Barkley, a scramble out of the shotgun or a tush push, Jalen Hurts should add another rushing touchdown on Monday night.
Ladd McConkey More Than 49.5 Receiving Yards
Ladd McConkey had a sensational rookie season, ranking 10th in the NFL in receiving yards last season. It was a slower start to this season for McConkey, and as an offense, the Chargers have been inconsistent. However, McConkey has led the team in receiving in three of its past five games and should have a good game against the Eagles. The Philadelphia defense has been good this season, but the Chargers are a tough offense to stop. They have a lot of weapons, and it’s impossible to give your full attention to one weapon. Kimani Vidal has provided more of a rushing attack and Omarion Hampton likely returns this week, and the emergence of Oronde Gadsden has forced teams to focus more on the middle of the field. That helps Ladd McConkey on the outside, allowing him to face single coverage. He has at least 50 receiving yards in five of his past seven games and should clear that number against the Eagles on Monday night.
Kimani Vidal More Than 38.5 Rushing Yards
Kimani Vidal has established himself as a solid rushing option for the Chargers. The Chargers entered the season with one veteran option, Najee Harris, and rookie running back Omarion Hampton in the backfield. However, both of those players have dealt with injuries all season, thrusting Vidal into the RB1 role. He is the team’s leading rusher this season and has been fantastic in recent weeks. He has rushed for at least 95 yards in two of his past three games, including a career-high 126 rushing yards last week. The Eagles will be without star defensive tackle Jalen Carter for this game, who typically clogs up the middle of the defensive line and stuffs the run. Even if Hampton returns, Vidal should keep up his great run of form as the 1B in the backfield and rush for at least 39 yards in this game.
