Gonzaga Bulldogs vs. Kentucky Wildcats College Basketball prediction, preview
Kentucky has played three big games this season. The Wildcats were underdogs at Louisville, and decent favorites over Michigan State and North Carolina. They lost all three games pretty handily. Kentucky squares off against Gonzaga on Friday night in Nashville, and this might be its toughest task yet.
The Wildcats had to get up for a big game recently against the Tar Heels, while the Zags have been chewing on a tough loss for well over a week. Gonzaga played in the Players Era Tournament out in Las Vegas during Feast Week, and after handling Alabama and Maryland, got dismantled by Michigan in the Championship Game — the Wolverines seemingly did this to everyone during their trip to Vegas.
Now the Bulldogs look to bounce-back nine days later, and catch a Kentucky team that simply cannot figure out how to win a big game. The Zags shape up as a more experienced, more talented version of Kentucky. The Bulldogs have depth, size, guard play and are fantastic on the glass. The Wildcats’ talent is great, but I need to see them win a big game before I even think about backing them in this type of matchup.
I’ll lay the points with the Zags in a game that could have blowout potential.
