Prescott is coming off back-to-back games with 320+ passing yards and tallied as many as 361 yards through the air in a game this season. Prescott leads the NFL with 271.8 average passing yards per game and will look to add to this against a banged-up Detroit defense.
The Lions enter this matchup ranked 15th in the NFL in points allowed and 14th in total yards conceded. They are 30th in passing touchdowns allowed, 21st in net yards per pass attempt, and 17th in total passing yards given up. This also comes while having more injury luck than will be the case this week. All-Pro safety Kerby Joseph has battled knee problems all season, and Terrion Arnold was officially placed on injured reserve. The Lions play man coverage at a high rate, and this will be a problem as they look to slow down the Cowboys’ star-studded wide receiver duo of CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.
The defense has shown some signs of life in recent weeks, but it has felt like no lead is safe with the Dallas defense for most of the season. The 32-year-old is leading the Cowboys on drives and doing his part to finish around the end zone. Prescott has 25 passing touchdowns on the season, which is tied for the second-most in the NFL. He is averaging 2.1 passing scores per contest and has thrown three or more touchdowns in five of the 12 games.

Dallas is going to need to put up some points if they are to get their desired result and will continue playing with the level of desperation they have shown. This feels like great value based on the context of the matchup and Prescott’s current rate of play. Count on him putting his fingerprints all over this game and for Prescott to tally three passing scores for the sixth time this season.
