Morgan Geekie Anytime Goalscorer (+140)
With David Pastrnak now sidelined, even more of the workload has been thrown onto Geekie’s shoulders. The 27-year-old ranks first in goals per 60 and fifth in 5v5 goals per 60. Tonight, he draws a matchup against on his home ice against a leaky goaltender in Jordan Binnington. Binnington is 6-6-5 with a 3.20 GAA and .878 SV%, and he ranks 75th (out of 80) in goals saved above expected. Geekie has netted eight goals in the past seven outings, including three goals in the past two home games.
Shayne Gostisbehere 1+ Assist (+100)
The 32-year-old has notched three assists in the past three games and ranks sixth in 5v5 assists per 60. The Hurricanes rank fourth in 5v5 goals per 60, and while the Maple Leafs have received solid goaltending from Joseph Woll, they still lead the league in 5v5 goals against per 60. Woll is 3-3-1 with a 2.53 GAA and .924 SV%. Gostisbehere has notched at least one assist in 7-of-9 home games, too, and should see plenty of opportunities on Carolina’s first power play unit.
Nick Paul 1+ Point (+105)
Paul has recorded a point in 5-of-7 games this season since making his season debut on Nov. 20. He plays second-line minutes alongside both Jake Guentzel and Oliver Bjorkstrand and has been so impressive in limited games that he ranks seventh in 5v5 points per 60. The Penguins will start Tristan Jarry, who has had a nice start to the new season after an awful 2024 campaign, but it’s going to be hard to slow down an offense that ranks third in 5v5 xGoals% and fifth in 5v5 goals per 60. Paul’s presence at center on the first power play unit also increases his chances to notch a point for the fifth straight game.
