The NBA has 10 games on the scoreboard this Wednesday night, with the NBA TV matchup tipping off at 8:30 as the final game of the night. The Dallas Mavericks will host the Miami Heat in a fun national TV game to close out the night. Let’s take a look at the current markets and find some strong options from the many player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Overall in the game, the Heat are 5.5-point road favorites, with the game total set at O/U 240.5 points.
The Heat are 14-7 overall but only 4-5 on the road compared to the 7-15 Dallas Mavericks, who are just 4-9 at the American Airlines Center. The Mavs do have a little momentum, though, after winning against the Clippers and the Nuggets in their last two games.
Let’s take a look at the player prop bets available for Wednesday night’s rematch and find a few player prop bets to smash.
Heat at Mavericks Best Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Anthony Davis 25+ points (+104)
Davis helped the Mavs win their most recent game on Monday, scoring 32 points in just 32 minutes against Denver.
He only had 12 points in his first game back last week, but he had 25+ points in three of his four games before his injury as well.
Getting this prop at plus-money feels like a discount since he’s still ramping back up, but he should flourish in this matchup against Miami.
Opposing power forwards are producing the fourth-most fantasy points per game against the Heat. Power forwards are averaging 24.7 points per game against Miami, and since Davis is a far above-average power forward scorer, I think he’ll go over that mark on Wednesday night.
He’s still getting back to 100%, but he’s in a great spot to attack with his points prop in this matchup.
Andrew Wiggins over 15.5 points (-126)
On the other side of this matchup, Wiggins also has a good chance to go over his point total prop, since he only needs 16 points to reach the over.
Norman Powell (ankle) is questionable, and if he’s out that would open even more usage and potential scoring for Wiggins, who is averaging a solid 17.5 points per game in his first full season in Miami. Even with Powell playing, Wiggins has scored at least 16 points in three of his last four games and at least 15 points in 13 of his last 15 games.
He had 22 points in 32 minutes against the Clippers on Monday after dropping 31 points in a loss against the Pistons last Saturday. He did miss some time with a hip flexor injury, but he looked well past that issue in those two games and should be set to carry the load on Wednesday since he’s listed as available on the injury report.
Tyler Herro over 2.5 3PM (+103)
After missing the first 17 games of the season, Herro has stepped right into a big role for the Heat. He has played four games and has a 25.6% usage rate with an average of 16.3 field-goal attempts and 6.0 three-point attempts per game.
While he didn’t make a single three-pointer in his first game back from injury (also against the Mavs), he went over this prop line in each of his three games since, averaging 4.3 3PM per game in those three contests. He hit six threes against the Pistons and four threes against the Clippers in his two most recent games, and he should be ready to let it fly from long-range again on Wednesday. Like with Davis’ points, this line feels a little low since he’s still working his way back from injury, but he has a good chance to go over this line on Wednesday, especially if he gets more shots with Powell limited or out.
Bonus Parlay pick: Kel’el Ware under 9.5 rebounds (-120)
If you’re playing a parlay and looking for a fourth leg, this is a nice way to sweeten the pot. Ware has slipped into a smaller role coming off the bench for the Heat, and he has had under 10 rebounds in each of his three games since moving to the second unit. He’s averaging 10.6 boards per game on the season, but most of that average was with him in a starting role. With Daniel Gafford (ankle, questionable) and P.J. Washington (ankle, questionable) possibly ready to return, the Mavs will have a solid rebounding unit, so I think Ware will stay under this prop on Wednesday.
If you combine the four props in this post into an SGP, it checks in at a juicy +1100.
