Blake Corum ($4,600) is coming off his best performance of the season, rushing seven times for 71 yards and a touchdown in this past Sunday’s loss to the Panthers (14.1 FPTS).
Corum averaged a terrific 11.6 YPC, which was far better than the 5.5 YPC Kyren Williams ($6,600) produced. That being said, the latter still had a strong showing, rushing 13 times for 72 yards and a touchdown (13.2 FPTS), and despite exiting the game briefly to get his ankle checked out, Williams, per usual, saw far more work than Corum in the contest.
Williams handled a 65% rush share and a 67.3% snap share while Corum handled a 35% rush share and a 32.7% snap share. In the red zone, Williams out-carried Corum 5-2.
This is the exact type of split we have seen between Williams and Corum all season, and while Corum was the more efficient rusher this past week, that doesn’t mean this backfield is all of the sudden about to become more of an even split. Williams is still the top dog in this backfield and this should continue to be a 60/40 split in favor of him.
The Rams are a 7.5-point favorite over the Cardinals this Sunday on DraftKings Sportsbook, so Williams should find himself in a positive game script and he is a top-12 running back option for Week 14.
